I love that the Internet allows me to find out so many interesting things from the comfort of my own home. Sure, in the “olden days“, you could call around on the telephone, but that took a long time - now with the Internet, it is much quicker.
So, I was on the computer today looking for some Tampa softball lessons. I thought that it might be a good idea after I found out that I was the only person at a staff barbeque that didn’t know how to play baseball - it was very embarrassing.
Looking online, I realized that there were many places that were claiming that you could learn baseball. For example, I was able to find some baseball cages Clearwater FL that offered lessons, but I wanted to learn the whole game - not just how to swing a bat.
I continued the search and was hoping to find some sort of course, or some kind of instruction that I could take that would educate me about the entire game of golf. I am sad to admit it, but I don’t even understand how the game works at all beyond hitting the ball.
There was a Clearwater baseball camp that I signed myself up for and hopefully I will finally learn how to play baseball there - I don’t want to be embarrassed about not knowing how to play again.

The statistics tell us that it’s because the Baby Boomers — one of the biggest generations — are aging and are therefore starting to need care. For whatever reason, though, elder care is a huge industry — and growing.
Whether or not you are already in the nursing industry, you might consider pursuing a career as an in home caregiver. Once you have completed your home care training, you can earn a pretty decent living.
Some of the advantages to working in the industry include:
- More flexible hours. Depending on the company you work for, you may be able to choose your hours more freely than you would working in a hospital, nusing home, or doctor’s office.
- Relative comfort. Instead of working in a hospital or a nursing home, you provide care for someone in their own home, which is generally a more comfortable environment (for you as well as for your client!).
- Less pressure and/or stress. When you are working in a private home, you have one client to care for — not dozens or more, as you would in a hospital or a nursing home. The result is that you are more relaxed and can give more focused attention to your client.
Home care provider training will teach you the specifics of the work. For instance, you’ll learn about fall prevention home care so that you can keep your clients safe. You’ll also learn about the proper nutrition for the elderly, so that you can ensure your clients’ diets are healthful and give them the nutrients they need.
