Choices You Don’t Realize Will Change Your Life

There are some decisions in life that we recognize are big decisions. For example, most people think it’s a big deal to decide who it is that they want to marry. While these big decisions certainly merit a lot of our attention, it is important to realize that a lot of the things that will end up changing your life are not things that you realize in advance are going to be life-changing.
For example, let’s say that you decided that you were going to go to cooking school. That’s a big decision that you probably thought through carefully. Originally, you were looking at Orlando culinary school programs but then you decided to go ahead and move across the country to attend Scottsdale Culinary School. You figured you’d be done in two years and move back home. Only then you met someone that you fell in love with and twenty years later you’re still in Arizona.
In this case, you knew that choosing a degree was life-changing but didn’t realize that the location of the school you selected would ultimately be what changed your life. The point here is that you can’t always know what the future will bring no matter how much weight you give to your decisions so sometimes it’s best to just go with your gut on things.
