The Rise and Fall of Big Tech
How did the Big Four get to the top of their field? Will they be able to maintain their positions in the future? Scott Galloway, Silicon Valley’s renowned corporate expert, reveals Big Tech’s success strategies, something everyone wants to know but no one has ever explained.
In the first two lectures, he analyzes the Big Four’s success strategies: how their bold and aggressive stance during the pandemic recession, when all the other companies were on the defense, helped them maintain their spot at the top. In the third and fourth lectures, he takes a look at where Apple, Amazon, Google, and Facebook are investing, with a focus on the “metaverse,” which will transform our world completely. In the fifth and sixth lectures, he talks about the relationship between the Big Four and elite universities. He points out how university education, which used to act as a ladder people could climb to achieve upward social mobility, now further enforces the existing caste system, and suggests a new way to become the talent that Big Tech companies want.
